Seamus Robertson, ACE-CPT, LMT

My relationship with exercise and “fitness” began at twenty, after I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. That same week, I went on my first run—just down the driveway and back—and started a simple bodyweight strength routine. I run a bit farther now, but living with a chronic illness has taught me this: the best exercise is the kind you can take anywhere, do consistently, and that truly supports your overall health.

For the past eight years as a functional trainer and licensed massage therapist I’ve helped more than 3,000 people recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain. My programs:

  • Offer simple, effective exercise routines that fit into everyday life

  • Balance training and recovery for steady, sustainable progress

  • Support mobility, prehab/rehab, stress management, and better sleep

How It Works

Step 1: Apply

Answer a short set of questions so I can understand your goals, constraints, and schedule.

Step 2: Kickoff

We complete intake and a movement assessment. You get your program in Everfit and a simple weekly routine to start.

Step 3: Build Consistency

Weekly check-ins keep you on track. I adjust your plan based on what your body and schedule are telling us.

Step 4: The Monthly Session

We address tight areas, reduce threat and guarding, and reinforce the movement work that helps your training stick.

Step 5: Progress and Re-Test

We track outcomes like strength, mobility, pain patterns, and tolerance to daily life so progress is visible.

Frequently asked questions

How often do I train each week?

Most clients do 2 to 4 sessions per week. We build around your schedule and recovery.

 

Do I need access to a full gym?

No. Programs can be built for home, apartment gym, or full gym access.

What does the in-home session include?

A therapeutic manual therapy session plus targeted movement work that supports your training plan. The focus is function, recovery, and better movement options.

 

Is this medical care?

No. Coaching and massage are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If symptoms are severe, new, or worsening, you should consult a licensed medical provider.

What if I travel?

The plan is designed to travel. We adjust based on your week and available equipment. 

What happens after 3 months?

Most clients continue month to month. Some transition to coaching only. We decide based on your goals and progress.
